CW Eventing & Coaching Academy offers tuition & development for riders of all levels, alongside Chris’s own Eventing career. Through tailored lessons & training opportunities, we focus on growth & success in a professional, supportive setting.
We are a friendly, professional hub for riders who want to learn, grow, and enjoy everything equestrian life has to offer.
Founded by Chris Wincer, an experienced Event Rider who has competed up to 4* level, the Academy brings top-level expertise to riders and horses of all abilities.
Chris’s passion lies not just in coaching riders, but helping them become true horsemen and women- confident, capable, and well-rounded.
We offer a well-established riding school, with a lovely team of kind, educated horses for lessons- so you don’t need your own to get started.
From complete beginners to aspiring eventers, we provide tailored coaching focused on building confidence, improving technique, and forming strong partnerships between horse and rider.
We also have a small but exciting breeding operation, including our own stallion. There’s often a beautiful foal or two in the fields, and our young horses are carefully produced on-site which gives a unique chance to learn about the full journey- from foal to future event horse.
We also offer schooling , perfect for owners looking to have their horses professionally educated, or fine-tuned. Each horse is treated as an individual, with training plans tailored to bring out their best.
Chris also offers both flatwork and jumping lessons on your own horse in his brand new flood-lit arena with a full set of show jumps and spacious lorry park.
Our lessons do go beyond the saddle, offering hands-on stable management, grooming, plaiting for competitions, practical horsemanship skills and more, to give riders a solid foundation in horse care and responsibility.
